Jennifer comes from a musical family in Connecticut and grew up playing piano and cello and studying voice. She minored in Vocal Performance at New York University and performed in a number of recitals in New York. She spent ten years as a journalist, anchoring the morning news for CBS News in New Orleans. She was part of a team of journalists that won a Peabody Award for coverage of Hurricane Katrina.

In addition to teaching Music Together® classes, Jennifer is an Emmy®-winning host and producer for TVW, the state's C-SPAN network.

As the Center Director for Music Together of Olympia, Jennifer hopes to bring out the musical talents in all of us and have fun at the same time. She loves the premise of Music Together - that all children are musical - and looks forward to singing with you and your kids!
Her two kids have been through the Music Together program and love music!

Molly recently retired after 33 years of teaching early childhood education. Molly received a Master’s degree in Curriculum Development. She has used music as an essential part of teaching basic concepts in reading, math and social/emotional development. Throughout her career Molly has written and received many grants that brought the arts to her classroom and community. In her early years of teaching, she and a teaching partner originated the Rainy Day Arts Festival that included performances with professional artists such as ethnic drummers and the local high school’s jazz band and choir. Recently, while teaching Kindergarten in North Thurston Public Schools, she wrote and received grants from the Hands On Children’s Museum. This allowed all 4 Kindergarten classes at Evergreen Forest to take a field trip and experience the wonder of the museum.

Molly and her husband have two grown children, a son who is an Educator and a daughter who is pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. She and her husband led a YMCA summer camp at beautiful Lake Quinault for about 15 years. Her family spent a majority of those summers singing around the campfire each night with hundreds of children and teenage counselors. Currently Molly is helping to care for her first grandchild, Hazel.  She also has a passion for hiking and the outdoors and is a Hiking Guide for the Lacy Parks and Recreation Department. Molly is thrilled to be joining Jennifer to bring music and fun into the lives of young children and their families.
